UPHOLSTERY MATERIALS
Upholstery materials produced by Sanwil can be used for all types of "soft" furniture: sofas, armchairs, as well as office chairs and armchairs. The company has a metrology laboratory in which materials are subjected to a series of tests for upholstery materials. The product is tested not only at the design stage and after production, but also during the production process (in-process tests).
We manufacture products for the furniture and footwear industries, as well as widely used in other industries (clothing, medical and para-medical, purse making, automotive, thermal insulation laminates).

UPHOLSTERY MATERIALS
Upholstery materials produced by Sanwil can be used for all types of "soft" furniture: sofas, armchairs, as well as office chairs and armchairs. The company has a metrology laboratory in which materials are subjected to a series of tests for upholstery materials. The product is tested not only at the design stage and after production, but also during the production process (in-process tests).
The most important tests for upholstery materials are:
• control of color durability and precision (quality control of pigments, check of color saturation in different lighting, check of color before each production batch in order to maintain repeatability and compliance of the obtained color with a standard, e.g. a sample of natural leather)
• abrasion resistance (Martindale abrasion tester).
• tearing strength, tearing, elongation and other physic-mechanical parameters.
• resistance to inflammation in accordance with Polish standards (cigarette and match test and higher levels of inflammation in accordance with British and German standards).
• vapor-permeability ("inverted cup" method).
• resistance to chemicals including alcohol, artificial sweat
• light resistance (UV) according to the blue scale (possibility to check, in a laboratory cooperating with Sanwil Polska).
MEDICAL MATERIALS
Medical materials are a group of products addressed to producers of hospital and rehabilitation equipment. These materials were used in the production of anti-bedsore covers for hospital mattresses, hygienic sleepers, rehabilitation equipment and upholstery covers for furniture dedicated to healthcare.
The manufactured medical materials do not cause allergies, they are biostatic. These products have excellent waterproofness and vapor-permeability (breathing) properties, providing users with a feeling of increased comfort.
SPECIALIZED MATERIALS
Sanwil focuses mainly on specialist material groups:
• technical materials (including tarpaulin fabrics, solid and foamed foils, thermal insulation covers - laminates with PU foam).
• materials for protective clothing (aprons for the food and chemical industry, waterproof, anti-electrostatic clothing and others)
SHOE MATERIALS
Sanwil manufactures materials used for both summer and winter footwear. Our footwear materials are suitable for footwear assembled with direct PVC injection, flooded with PU and assembled traditionally. The company also produces fur for winter footwear, both from synthetic fibers and natural wool. The production of a three-layer laminate for winter footwear (outer material + PU foam + fur) is our specialty.
